Getting Started

Welcome to the MBA Primer for Campbellsville University. This Primer offers an effective way to prepare you for your MBA courses. All applicants who have not had undergraduate courses in any one or all of the following areas: Accounting, Finance, Economics and/or Statistics, are to take the subject pre-test before the start of classes. These are free of charge and may be taken only one time. If you do not score 70% or higher on the pre-tests, you must purchase the corresponding preparatory modules. If your score is 70% or higher then you do not have to complete the Primer in that area.

The MBA Primer includes individual courses and a comprehensive course which includes all of the courses combined. You can take the tests as many times as you would like and your highest score will be the one that is used. You must score at least 70%. The post-test scores will not appear on your transcript at Campbellsville University but these courses must be completed to satisfy the prerequisite requirements. You may take as much time as necessary to succeed on them. Expect to spend between 20 and 30 hours total on the four modules and post-tests. Individual study time will vary, so don’t wait until the last minute to get started.

The entire course is web based, there is no textbook involved.

Pre-test registration and instructions
Register for and take the MBA Primer Pre-test by creating an account with the access code you received via email from the MBA Program office. Register and access the MBA Primer Pre-test by clicking here and then selecting "Register the Serial Number." During the registration process, enter the following course code depending on your chosen Pre-test:

Content Module, purchase, registration, and instructions
If you do not score 70% or higher on any of the module pre-tests, you must purchase the corresponding preparatory module for $65.00 each. If you would like to take all four modules, you can purchase the comprehensive edition with all four modules at a discounted rate of $195.00. You can purchase with your credit card using the links below. After your purchase has been processed, you will receive an access code for each module that you purchased. You can then register for the content module by clicking here and selecting "Register the Serial Number." Be sure to use the same username and password that you used during the pre-test.

During registration, you will be asked for a section code. Depending on the module(s) you are purchasing, use the corresponding section codes as listed below. If you miss adding the section code during registration, you can also go back after logging in to your user account and add the appropriate section code.
