OnStar is the nation's leading provider of in-vehicle safety, security and information services utilizing Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite networks and wireless technology. Known for its real-world advertisements complete with dramatic car calamities and roadside blunders by distressed motorists, OnStar offers helpful services ranging from stolen vehicle recovery and roadside assistance, to remote-door unlock and vehicle diagnostics.

In addition to its convenient roadside services, OnStar's Personal Calling service allows drivers to make hands-free, voice-activated phone calls through a nationwide cellular network, and receive location-based traffic and weather reports, as well as sports scores, stock quotes and news.

Two years after launching its hands-free Personal Calling service nationwide, OnStar has sold more than 200 million wireless minutes. This milestone demonstrates the increasing value subscribers place on their ability to make and receive hands-free phone calls while driving.
