Chapter 17 - Monopolistic Competition
Brand Names
Believe it or not, there exists a Brand Names Education
Foundation, whose
mission is "to advance worldwide knowledge of the nature, purpose and
value of brand names and the responsibilities associated with their
use. The Foundation believes that trademarks and brand names enable
consumers to make intelligent choices among competing products and
services while encouraging accountability, quality and honest
competition. In support of this mission, the Foundation supports
research relating to the use, role, and legal protection of
trademarks and brand names."
