Colorado and New Mexico charge both excise and sales taxes on distilled spirits. Using the information on the Federation of Tax Administrators' Website, and assuming that other demand and supply characteristics are the same, predict which side of the Colorado-New Mexico border will tend to have the higher proportion of out-of-state liquor sales.
