and painstakingly revised to address the main text revisions. Included are true/false,
multiple-choice, and short answer questions that assess students' critical thinking
skills. Easy, medium, and difficult questions outline the process that students
must use to arrive at their answers: recall, application, and integration. Questions
are organized by text section to help instructors pick and choose their selections

Macroeconomics: Principles and Policy ISBN: 0-030-35472-2
To improve this edition
of the test bank and to help you choose effective test questions, we have added
an important feature. Each question is preceded by a code signifying rigor and
the method of learning needed to answer the question. For rigor the Letter E
indicates easy question, M indicates medium questions, and D difficult
questions. Method of learning is indicated with an A for application,
I for integration, and R for recall. The application questions
test whether students can apply what they've learned about a single concept.
Recall questions simply test whether students remember key concepts. Integration
questions require that students understand the relationships between two or
more concepts and can apply that understanding to real world phenomena. You
will find this sytem utilized for all question types including true/false, multiple-choice,
and essay questions. In the multiple-choice questions you will find the codes
listed next to the correct answer. This feature will assist you in selecting
a good mix of questions that tests the material of your choice. We hope you
find this system helpful.
